  • Excel files: Excel files are a popular format for suppliers to email their statements to you. To get them into Statement Matching for reconciliation, all you have to do is forward the email for auto-import into Statement Matching. Alternatively, suppliers can upload their own statements via a portal if you give them access.
  • PDF/paper statements: Supplier statements that you receive as a PDF attachment via email can also be forwarded to our managed service where the data is captured and transferred to Statement Matching. It’s the same process for paper statements, so you can scan them to PDF or TIFF and send them to the same email address used for PDF forwarding. They will be auto-uploaded to Statement-Matching within 24 hours.

With manual reconciliation eliminated, the only task for your accounts payable team is to manage any exceptions that are identified. Errors can be resolved proactively by Accounts Payable to ensure missing invoices/credits are obtained from the supplier on a timely basis and any errors on your ERP system are fixed before they become more costly issues.
